Angel Fire
Angel Fire Resort is a popular ski and snowboard destination located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Northern New Mexico. With over 80 trails and a vertical drop of over 2,000 feet, Angel Fire Resort offers a variety of trails for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. The resort features two terrain parks, the Wall and the Pipeline, which offer a range of features and challenges for freestyle skiers and snowboarders.
Angel Fire Resort receives an average of around 200 inches of snowfall per season, which allows for a long ski season that typically runs from December through March. In addition to downhill skiing and snowboarding, Angel Fire Resort also offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and other winter activities. We get to this number by combining a number of metrics for each resort and comparing them to its peers. Most of the score is based off the amount of easy-intermediate-expert slopes by acreage and the maximum vertical drop of the overall resort, but also includes a few lesser-used metrics as well.
