Nubs Nob
Nub's Nob Ski Area is a popular ski destination located in northern Michigan, near the town of Harbor Springs. The resort is located approximately 1.5 hours from the city of Traverse City and 3 hours from Grand Rapids, making it an easy day trip or weekend getaway for skiers and snowboarders in the region.
Nub's Nob is known for its relatively high annual snowfall for the Eastern US, averaging around 150 inches per season, and the snow at the resort is typically wet and heavy, making for challenging but rewarding skiing and snowboarding conditions. The ski season at Nub's Nob typically runs from mid-December to late March. While Nub's Knob has great skiing and snowboarding, the ski area does not have onsite lodging or restaurant options.

Nubs Nob Ski Resort Elevation
Nubs Nob Ski Resort has a summit elevation of 1,338 feet, or 408 meters. However, not all of that elevation is able to be skied. The base of the ski slope sits at 911 feet above sea level, creating a ski hill that is 427 feet (130 meters) high. This is referred to as the slope's vertical drop - or a measure of how high the skiable hill is.
