INDY Ski Pass Resorts 2023-24
The Indy Pass, was created in 2019 to offer skiers access to independently owned and operated ski areas across North America. It was introduced as a more affordable alternative to the Epic, Ikon, and Mountain Collective pass products.
What is the INDY Ski Pass?
INDY passes are essentially multi-resort lift passes bought in bulk. For a skier that plans to travel across the country skiing different slopes, a nationwide pass like this could potentially be a great deal.
Types of INDY Passes
INDY has two main types of passes. Their INDY Pass provides 2 days’ access to 82 resorts, not all of which are located in the US. This ticket is subject to blackout dates at some (but not all) of the resorts.
Their INDY Plus Pass provides the same exact access, but with no blackout dates at any of their resorts.
INDY also sells “addon” passes that provide unlimited access to their partner resorts when you already own a season-pass at your home slope. Blackout dates apply to the regular pass’s addon, but not to the INDY+ pass. The “addon” can only be purchased with a valid and current season pass from one of their partner resorts (listed below).
All of these passes also get you a 25% discount on a third day at any resort.
INDY Pass Pricing
The INDY Pass 2023-24 Ski Season Pricing:
INDY Pass: Adult: $279, Child: $149 (12 and under). A 10% discount is available for people who held last year’s pass. This price is the early-bird pricing, which increases with time. The last day for that low price is May 30th.
INDY Plus Pass: Adult: $379, Child: $189 (12 and under). A 10% discount is available for people who held last year’s pass. This price is the early-bird pricing, which increases with time. The last day for that price is May 30th.
INDY Pass Addon: Adult: $199, Child: $99 (12 and under). This price is the early-bird pricing, which increases with time.
INDY Plus Pass Addon: Adult: $299, Child: $149 (12 and under). This price is the early-bird pricing, which increases with time.

Alternatives to the INDY Pass
The INDY pass is by far the cheapest of all the national multi-resort, multi-day passes, but only on the surface.
Since INDY only gives you 2 days at each of their resorts, the only pass that is comparable is either the 2-day EPIC or IKON pass. The full EPIC, IKON and Mountain Collective passes for the most part provide unlimited access (subject to blackouts) to member resorts, and thus not really similar to INDY at all.

When Can You Purchase a INDY Pass?
INDY 2022/23 passes are available now.
INDY – like most other nationwide lift passes – starts selling their passes in March for the following ski season.
Most of their available ski passes are actually sold out before the season even begins. If you are planning a ski trip in January or February, more than likely you’ll have to pay full price for a lift ticket at the resort. INDY passes are not sold after January 16th.
Changes to the INDY Pass for 2022-23
In 2022, INDY added Sunlight Mountain, Echo Mountain and Granby Ranch (all in Colorado) to their lineup. In July 2021, INDY added 4 resorts (marmot basin, Montage Mountain, Snow Valley & Titus).
